History of Litecoin

Litecoin was created by a former Google engineer Charlie Lee . On October 13, 2011 the network was live . Based on Bitcoin source code with differences in block time , maximum supply and mining algorithm ( Scrypt ). Litecoin's goal is faster transaction times and lower fees.
